Parent and child dance classes

Dancing together

Parents keep returning to these classes because of the quality time they spend with their baby. Through dancing, being playful, and using your body creatively, I want to support bonding and wellbeing for parent and child. I try to run the sessions in venues where there is space to socialise before and after class, because this is important too.

Mum&Baby Dance explores developmental movement stages and supports creative interaction with baby. Suitable for young babies and pre-walkers.

Parent&Toddler Movement encourages the joy of dance through moving together in a dance journey of explorative play. Suitable for 2-3 year olds (rough age guide).

I started facilitating Mum&Baby Dance with my first daughter in 2019. I wanted somewhere to be creative together with other adults, dance to good music and be playful with my baby. I am now ‘co-facilitating’ Parent&Toddler Dance with my eldest and Mum&Baby Dance with my second daughter, born in 2021. Doing the sessions with my daughters has brought me closer to them and I hope it will do the same for you.
